CAPA SPEAKERS SERIES - October 18
Back by popular demand, the CAPA Speakers Series is a benefit of individual membership. AllCAPA individual membersare invited to attend this free online presentation.

CLUBS
For the first time in many years a Canadian club, theChinese Photographic Club of Toronto, has entered the FIAP World Cup for Clubs competition (FWCC), placing third in this prestigious competition.The FWCC is a yearly international event for photographic clubs.In addition, Francis King was awarded the top individual award, while CAPA memberKatie Maktied for the second individual award, giving the Chinese Photographic Club of Toronto two of the top three individual awards in this competition.Read more about the resultsand get the link to the winning photos here.
The International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP) is an international organization of national associations of photography. There is only one representative member in FIAP from each country. CAPA is Canada's sole Canadian member of FIAP.

CANADIAN PHOTOGRAPHY MAGAZINE
Do you have a photo project or special camera technique you'd like to talk about and share your images? We'd love to hear from you. We are especially urging those with expertise in all genres of photography to share their knowledge with our readers. Such how-to articles need not be lengthy and can be accompanied by photos that help illustrate the procedures. Members appreciate seeing your images and learning from fellow CAPA members. Articles can be in English or French.

- The Caroun Photo Club will host its17th Annual Photography Exhibition 2023at the Caroun Art Gallery in North Vancouver from December 2 to 14, 2023. The opening reception will be December 2 from 4 to 8 PM.
- TheRichmond Photo Clubis participated in Richmond Culture Days, providingfree portraiture in the Cultural Centre on September 23rd. Families, children and singles were invited and were given up to five high quality images for print to all visitors.Read more Richmond Photo Club news here.
