Club Membership
Richmond Photo Club (RPC) has a great cross-section of members ranging from casual to professional quality photographers, who can mentor you by offering their expertise and experience. Club members share ideas about various techniques and applications, practice photography on field trips and teach other club members. Members can show their work to other photographers through club evaluation nights, external competitions and through our local exhibitions.
Visitors are always welcome at our club meetings. If you have an interest in photography and want to meet like-minded people, you are welcome to attend two meetings without making a commitment to the Club.
Once you decide to join the RPC, there is a yearly membership fee of $60.The club year runs from September to August.
The process to apply for member involves 3 simple steps:
1. Request a login name and password to access the club's website.
2. Send payment either by cheque or etransfer to the club.
3. Once payment is received, the club will notify you of your membership.

IMAGE CONTENT:
Richmond Photo Club (RPC) activities are open to the public. Images submitted to RPC for presentation in any form must be appropriate for viewing by all members and the public, including children. Members whose images are disqualified from a presentation by a representative of RPC have the option of meeting with the RPC Executive regarding the decision to disqualify an image.
PERMISSION TO USE IMAGES:
Images submitted by members for internal club competitions, evaluations and displays may be requested by RPC for promotional and informational purposes and for external competitions and exhibitions. If a member does not wish their image(s) to be used when a request is made, the member must provide written notice to the Competitions Chair for exclusion from such use by RPC.
LIABILITY RELEASE:
In consideration of being granted membership in Richmond Photo Club (RPC), I hereby release RPC, its officers and members from any claims or actions arising from any loss, injury or damage to myself or my property while participating in RPC activities. I acknowledge inherent risks and hazards in RPC activities and outings. I assume sole responsibility for all such risks and hazards.
AGREEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP:
I have read and understand the information contained within this form for a membership application or renewal with RPC and I agree to the conditions, as specified with regard to the following items: IMAGE CONTENT; PERMISSION TO USE IMAGES; LIABILITY RELEASE (see above).
The following fees apply to New Members and to returning Members who are renewing their membership:
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE: FULL YEAR - $60 ; PART YEAR* - $30
*Reduced Fees for part-year membership apply to new members joining from February 1st through August 31st.
